Interstate Routes

I-5 MP 31 to MP 36 NB & SB (Central Point)

Effective February 15, 2016, this section of I-5 is restricted to 14 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 6:30 AM & 5 PM. Mobile homes with eaves are allowed, provided the base width does not exceed 14 feet 00 in. in width. Loads wider than 14 feet 00 in. in width may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis. Contact the Over-Dimension Permit Unit for information. Estimated date of completion is February 18, 2016.

I-5 SB MP 130 to MP 128 (N of Roseburg)

Effective February 17, 2016, this section of I-5 southbound will be restricted to 19 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 8 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is February 20, 2016.

I-5 MP 154 to MP 163 NB & SB (Anlauf)

Effective January 4, 2016, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 16 feet 00 in. in width. Estimated date of completion is November 22, 2017.

I-5 MP 154.5 to MP 157.0 NB & SB (Anlauf)

Effective February 4, 2016, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 15 feet 00 in. in width. Mobile homes with eaves are allowed, provided the base width does not exceed 15 feet 00 in. in width. Estimated date of completion is March 25, 2016.

I-5 NB Exit 154 on-ramp from Scotts Valley/Elkhead Rd (Yoncalla)

Effective February 10, 2016, the I-5 northbound on-ramp from Scotts Valley/Elkhead Rd will be closed. Estimated date of completion is March 25, 2016.

I-5 MP 156.65 NB & SB (crossing under Cox Rd - Anlauf)

Effective January 4, 2016, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 16 feet 07 in. in height. Estimated date of completion is November 22, 2017.

Effective February 4, 2016, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 16 feet 07 in. in height. Estimated date of completion is March 25, 2016.

I-5 SB Exit 160 to Salt Springs Rd (S of Anlauf)

Effective February 4, 2016, the I-5 southbound Exit 160 off-ramp to Salt Springs Rd will be closed Monday-Friday. Estimated date of completion is March 18, 2016.

I-5 MP 271.35 to MP 276.01 NB & SB (Woodburn)

Effective August 26, 2013, this section of I-5 southbound will be restricted to 17 feet 01 in. in height. Effective November 13, 2014, this section of I-5 northbound will be restricted to 16 feet 09 in. in height. Estimated date of completion is September 30, 2016.

I-5 NB & SB Exit 271 ramps to / from OR214 / OR219 (Woodburn)

Effective November 13, 2014, the on- and off-ramps to/from I-5 northbound and southbound Exit 271 to OR214 and OR219 will be restricted to 16 feet 00 in. in width. Mobile homes with eaves are allowed, provided the base width does not exceed 16 feet 00 in. in width. Estimated date of completion is September 30, 2016.

I-5 MP 293.6 to MP 301.0 NB & SB (Portland)

Effective May 14, 2015, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 12 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 10 PM & 8 AM. In addition, the height will be restricted to 14 feet 10 in. in height northbound, and 15 feet 00 in. in height southbound during the same time. Effective September 19, 2015, these restrictions will be in place Sunday to Thursday nights between the hours of 10 PM & 8 AM, Friday and Saturday nights between the hours of 10 PM & 12 noon. Estimated date of completion is December 15, 2015.

I-5 MP 298 to MP 306 NB & SB ramps (Portland)

Effective March 2, 2015, the following ramps will be intermittently closed on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 PM & 6 AM; Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 9 PM & 7 AM: I-5 NB Exit 298 ramp to Corbett Ave; I-5 SB Exit 300B ramp to US26 / OR99E; I-5 SB ramp from Weidler St / Wheeler Ave / Winning Way; I-5 NB on-ramp from Broadway St; I-5 SB Exit 303 ramp to Alberta St / Swan Island; I-5 SB Exit 304 ramp to Rosa Parks Way. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

Effective February 9, 2015, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 13 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-5 NB Exit 299A ramp to Macadam Ave (OR43) NB (Portland)

Effective March 2, 2015, the ramp from I-5 northbound Exit 299A to Macadam Ave (OR43) northbound will be intermittently closed per the following schedule: Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 PM & 6 AM; Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 9 PM & 7 AM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-5 MP 300.23 to MP 301.42 NB & SB (Portland)

Effective August 7, 2015, this section of I-5 will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. In addition, the following ramps will be closed during the same time: I-405 SB to I-5 NB; SW 5th Ave to I-405 SB; OR43 to I-5 NB; I-5 NB Exit 300 to I-84 EB; I-405 NB to I-5 SB; N Greeley Ave to I-5 SB; N Weidler / N Wheeler / N Winning Way to I-5 SB; I-84 WB to I-5 SB. I-5 MP 300.32 to MP 301.13 NB (Portland)

Effective June 19, 2015, this section of I-5 northbound will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-5 NB Exit 300 ramp to I-84 EB (Portland)

Effective June 19, 2015, the ramp from I-5 northbound Exit 300 to I-84 eastbound will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-5 MP 301.0 to MP 302.5 NB & SB (Portland)

Effective February 12, 2016, this section of I-5 will be restricted to 15 feet 07 in. in height northbound, and 14 feet 10 in. in height southbound between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is February 13, 2016.

I-5 SB Exit 300B ramp to US26 / OR99E (Portland)

Effective July 31, 2015, the ramp from I-5 southbound Exit 300B to US26 / OR99E will be intermittently closed between the hours of 9 PM & 6 AM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-5 SB Exit 300B to US26 East / OR99E / OMSI / Oregon City (Portland) -- NEW --

Effective February 21, 2016, the ramp from I-5 southbound Exit 300B to US26 East / OR99E / OMSI / Oregon City will be closed between the hours of 7 AM & 7 PM. Estimated date of completion is February 21, 2016.

I-5 MP 302.1 to MP 302.8 NB & SB (Portland)

Effective September 7, 2015, this section of I-5 will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. In addition, the following ramps will be closed during the same time: I-84 WB ramp to I-5 NB; I-5 NB Exit 300 to I-84 EB; I-405 SB ramp to I-5 NB; SW 5th Ave ramp to I-405 SB; OR43 (Macadam Ave) ramp to I-5 NB; NE Broadway/N Williams to I-5 NB; I-405 NB ramp to I-5 SB; N Greeley Ave to I-5 SB. I-5 NB Exit 305A ramp to Lombard St (US30 Bypass) EB (Portland)

Effective March 2, 2015, the ramp from I-5 northbound Exit 305A to Lombard St (US30 Bypass) eastbound will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-5 NB Exit 305B ramp to Lombard St (US30 Bypass) WB (Portland)

Effective March 2, 2015, the ramp from I-5 northbound Exit 305B to Lombard St (US30 Bypass) westbound will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-5 MP 308.38 SB (Interstate Bridge - Portland)

Effective January 30, 2016, this section of I-5 southbound will be restricted to 12 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 10 PM & 8 AM. Estimated date of completion is February 2, 2016.

I-84 WB ramp to City Center / OMSI / Morrison Bridge (Portland)

Effective March 2, 2015, the ramp from I-84 westbound to City Center / OMSI / Morrison Bridge will be intermittently closed per the following schedule: Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 PM & 6 AM; Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 9 PM & 7 AM. The ramp from I-84 WB to I-5 SB will remain open. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-84 EB Exit 17 ramp to Troutdale -- NEW --

Effective February 15, 2016, the ramp from I-84 eastbound Exit 17 to Troutdale will be intermittently closed per the following schedule: Sunday to Thursday between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM; Friday between the hours of 10 PM & 7 AM; Saturday between the hours of 10 PM & 8 AM. Estimated date of completion is May 31, 2016.

I-84 WB Exit 17 on-ramp from Troutdale -- NEW --

Effective February 15, 2016, the ramp from Troutdale to I-84 westbound at Exit 17 will be intermittently closed per the following schedule: Sunday to Thursday between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM; Friday between the hours of 10 PM & 7 AM; Saturday between the hours of 10 PM & 8 AM. Estimated date of completion is May 31, 2016.

I-84 MP 45.60 to MP 64.50 EB & WB (Cascade Locks-Hood River)

Effective July 26, 2015, this section of I-84 will be restricted to 19 feet 00 in. in width from Midnight Sunday night to 12 Noon on Fridays. Estimated date of completion is November 30, 2016.

I-84 MP 48.0 WB (Cascade Locks)

Effective January 18, 2016, this section of I-84 westbound will be restricted to 19 feet 00 in. in width on Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM & 5 PM. Estimated date of completion is January 27, 2016.

I-84 MP 48.0 EB (Cascade Locks)

Effective January 20, 2016, this section of I-84 eastbound will be restricted to 19 feet 00 in. in width on Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM & 5 PM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-84 MP 53 to MP 54 EB (E of Cascade Locks)

Effective February 15, 2016, this section of I-84 will be restricted to 20 feet 00 in. in width Monday-Thursday between the hours of 6 AM & 6 PM. Estimated date of completion is April 6, 2016.

I-84 MP 62.05 WB (Crossing Under Exit 62/US30 - Hood River)

Effective July 26, 2015, I-84 westbound crossing under Exit 62 (US30) will be restricted to 15 feet 05 in. in height. Estimated date of completion is November 30, 2016.

I-84 MP 63.92 WB (Crossing Under Exit 63/2nd St - Hood River)

Effective July 26, 2015, I-84 westbound crossing under Exit 63 (2nd St) will be restricted to 15 feet 09 in. in height. Estimated date of completion is November 30, 2016.

I-84 MP 82.5 to MP 88.0 EB & WB (The Dalles)

Effective November 30, 2015, this section of I-84 will be restricted 16 feet 09 in. in height. Estimated date of completion is May 27, 2016.

I-84 EB & WB Exit 87 on- and off-ramps to/from US197 (The Dalles)

Effective February 1, 2016, the I-84 eastbound and westbound Exit 87 on- and off-ramps to/from US197 will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. These closures are NOT on the I-84 mainline. Estimated date of completion is May 31, 2016.

I-84 EB & WB crossing under US197 Exit 87 (The Dalles)

Effective November 30, 2015, this section of I-84 will be restricted 16 feet 03 in. in height. Estimated date of completion is May 27, 2016.

I-205 MP 12 to MP 14 NB & SB (Clackamas)

Effective April 7, 2014, this section of I-205 will be restricted to 12 feet 00 in. in width on Monday to Friday between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM (NIGHTTIME). In addition, this section of I-205 will be restricted to 16 feet 11 in. in height on Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is April 30, 2016.

I-405 SB ramp to I-5 NB (Portland)

Effective June 19, 2015, the ramp from I-405 southbound to I-5 northbound will be intermittently closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-405 SB ramp from SW 5th Ave (Portland)

Effective June 19, 2015, the ramp from SW 5th Ave to I-405 southbound will be intermittently closed on Friday nights between the hours of 10 PM & 5 AM. Estimated date of completion is January 29, 2016.

I-405 NB Exit 3 ramp to US30 WB (Portland)

Effective February 19, 2016, the ramp from I-405 northbound Exit 3 to US30 westbound will be closed between the hours of 10 PM & 5:30 AM. Estimated date of completion is February 21, 2016.

I-405 MP 3.20 SB (Fremont Bridge - Portland)

Effective February 2, 2016, this section of US101 northbound will be closed to all traffic for emergency road repairs until further notice. A local detour is in place. The detour is approved for freight, including those operating under an annual oversize permit. Single-trip permit oversize loads may be allowed on a case-by-case basis, contact the Over-Dimension Permit Unit for more information.

US197 MP 0 NB & SB (Crossing the Columbia River Bridge at the OR/WA Border) -- NEW --

Effective February 3, 2016 this section of US197 will be restricted to 12 feet 00 in. in width between the hours of 6 AM & Midnight. Estimated date of completion is February 5, 2016.

US395 MP 11.14 NB & SB (11 miles south of John Day - Vance Creek)

Effective December 14, 2015, use extra caution traveling through this section of US395 due to reduced roadway width and sharp corner. Work is currently underway to widen the highway. Estimated date of completion is December 18, 2015.

Upper Perry Interchange crossing over I-84 is restricted to the following weights: 20,000 lbs. single axle, 34,000 lbs. tandem axle, 105,500 lbs. GVW, Weight Table 2 for divisible loads; 21,500 lbs. single axle, 43,000 lbs. tandem axle - 98,000 lbs. GVW., Weight Table 3 for non-divisible loads.

US20 (Corvallis-Newport Hwy) MP 23.38 (Yaquina River Bridge - Eddyville)

Effective May 19, 2006, the Yaquina River Bridge near Eddyville is restricted to the following weights: 20,000 lbs. single axle, 34,000 lbs. tandem axle, 105,500 lbs. GVW., Weight Table 2 for divisible loads; 21,500 lbs. single axle, 43,000 lbs. tandem axle, 98,000 lbs. GVW., Weight Table 3 for non-divisible loads. Vehicles exceeding these weights may cross the bridge if they straddle the centerline, do not exceed 25 MPH and are the only vehicle on the bridge. Certified flaggers are required to stop traffic.

US30 (Historic Columbia River Hwy) MP 0.03 (Sandy River Bridge - Troutdale)

US30 (Historic Columbia River Highway) crossing the Sandy River Bridge is restricted to 30 tons gross weight.

US30 (Huntington Hwy) MP 0.46 (Burnt River Bridge - Lime)

Effective June 16, 2011, the Burnt River Bridge near Lime just off I-84 is restricted to 20,000 lbs. single axle, 34,000 lbs. tandem axle - 105,500 lbs. GVW., Weight Table 2 for divisible loads; 21,500 lbs. single axle, 43,000 lbs. tandem axle - 98,000 lbs. GVW., Weight Table 3 for non-divisible loads.
